Eating some beans on a fork...

Here i looked at three focal depths,, one on the face which is in complete harsh detail, the second on the beans which is more blurred, and then lastly the fingers in which are completely out of focus.

In this image I tried to imitate a snapshot perspective.

I feel like the beans should be just a tiny bit more sharpened. Granted, they are not as blurred as the hand, however, their blurriness does not quite match up to my perceived position of them in space.

Wow, what detail! You took such a regular and kind of gross scene and made it amazing. I like how its cropped almost uncomfortably close to his face.

I just like painting the mundane and the everday..
ya know average life can be pretty complex stuff..

oh and i used oil on canvas on all my works.
